Where we ship
Every Australian postcode is in scope. Carriers, rates and live transit estimates are quoted at checkout based on the destination. The notes below cover the general picture by region rather than per-postcode quotes.
Sydney and New South Wales
The warehouse is in North Parramatta, 2151. NSW is the fastest part of the network. Sydney metro, the Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong are all well serviced by both Aramex and Australia Post. Regional NSW including Albury, Dubbo, Tamworth, Coffs Harbour and Wagga Wagga is covered by both carriers; the choice usually comes down to whether Aramex services your suburb. Local pickup from the warehouse is available by appointment, email support@siddament.com.au to arrange.
Brisbane, Gold Coast and Queensland
Queensland is one of our largest markets outside Sydney. Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands and the Sunshine Coast are well covered by Aramex. The Gold Coast in particular, including Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Robina, Burleigh Heads, Coomera, Helensvale and Coolangatta, is one of our most frequent destinations. Further north, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville and Cairns are serviced primarily by Australia Post and take longer than the south east corner. Toowoomba is on the Aramex network.
Melbourne and Victoria
Melbourne is our second largest metropolitan market. Aramex services every Melbourne postcode along with Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, the Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley. Regional Victoria including Shepparton, Mildura, Warrnambool and Traralgon is covered by Australia Post.
Perth and Western Australia
Perth metro, Fremantle, Joondalup, Rockingham, Mandurah and Bunbury are all serviced. WA is the longest interstate run on the continent, so plan ahead rather than ordering the night before a build deadline. Express options are offered at checkout and bring transit time down noticeably for time-critical orders.
Adelaide and South Australia
Adelaide metro and the Adelaide Hills are on both carrier networks. McLaren Vale, Barossa, Fleurieu Peninsula, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and Mount Gambier are covered, though regional SA is faster via Australia Post than Aramex for some postcodes.
Canberra and ACT
Canberra (Civic, Belconnen, Tuggeranong, Gungahlin, Woden) along with Queanbeyan across the border are some of the quickest interstate runs from the Sydney warehouse. Aramex and Australia Post both service the ACT well.
Hobart, Launceston and Tasmania
Tasmania is serviced primarily by Australia Post. Hobart and Launceston metro are the fastest postcodes; Devonport, Burnie and regional Tasmania take a little longer. Cross Bass Strait freight schedules occasionally shift around long weekends.
Darwin and Northern Territory
The NT is the longest run in the country. Australia Post is usually the default, since Aramex coverage in the Top End is patchy. Express options are worth considering for Darwin and Alice Springs if you need parcels in a specific window.
The colour range
The single most common piece of feedback we get is the colour range. We are not going to claim it is the biggest in the world, but to our knowledge no other single Australian filament store stocks as many distinct colours and finishes in one warehouse. The catalogue in mid 2026 includes:

Yes, every postcode. Australia Post is the most reliable carrier for regional and remote addresses including outback NSW, far north Queensland, the Pilbara, the Kimberley and the NT. Aramex covers most regional centres but has thinner coverage in the remote north and west.
