Climate considerations
Perth has a hot dry summer climate. UV intensity is high, so any outdoor print needs ASA over PLA. Dry conditions actually help filament storage (less moisture absorption), but summer garage temperatures hit 40 C+ easily; consider PETG or ASA for anything stored in a workshop.
