Why Does My 3D Print Smell?
Common causes
- ABS: noticeable acrid smell during printing
- ASA: mild smell, less acrid than ABS
- PETG: minimal odour
- PLA: almost no smell (slight sweet smell from corn-derived chemistry)
- TPU: minimal odour
- Nylon: slight odour, especially when wet
