following on from last week, the freight forwarder handling our final non container items on the australian side has had their warehouse raided and their depot licence pulled.
to be clear, this is their operation and not ours. we do not run that depot, we are just one of the businesses with cargo sitting inside it, and right now nothing in that building is being released to anyone.
our items already with them (ziro and n3d stuff, as well as a massive v1 restock we ordered 4 months ago) are stuck in there. cannot make this stuff up.
their china side got done last week, their australian side got done this week. tracking is not updating even for air shipments through them, and the china side forwarder who organises the freight has said there is no eta on what happens next. that leaves us without critical stock and no way to chase it.
im probably going to have to reorder the entire stock again... we are bringing out some smaller products to cover us for the month. containers come in on a different route and remain unimpacted, we will find out this week whats up.
what a year for logistics can i just say
- sendle going bankrupt
- fuel surcharges due to hormuz
- increased delays cause the logistics company was being a lil bitch importing flavoured air sticks
- cracked spools via aramex
- typhoon in china
any restock date on the site is our best estimate, and the ones tied to that warehouse are the ones most likely to move. containers are still tracking normally.
