tl;dr we dont use internal boxes. if you really want them, tick Internal cardboard boxes in the cart, its $2 per spool.

why there are no boxes
we dont order the spools with outer boxes from the factory. the way the spools are in the box you received is our original boxing and packaging. it saves shipping weight.
each empty retail box weighs around 175 grams. thats a 1.75kg saving on a 10 roll order. 10 rolls, 10 vacuum bags, 10 individual boxes and another big box holding all 10 rolls weighs about 13kg. 10 rolls, 10 vacuum bags and 1 box weighs approximately 11.25kg.
so instead of 10 boxes of filament and an external box, you get 1 box with 10 loose rolls inside, packed into a custom sized box depending on your order.

the creality forum warning
in april 2025 someone posted a "warning" about us on the creality forum because their 2 spools turned up vacuum sealed and bubble wrapped instead of boxed. thats the whole complaint, nothing was damaged. read the whole thread and make your own mind up:
Warning regards Australian filament supplier (forum.creality.com)
the requests we get
some of what lands in the inbox:
"Not sure why you'd think this is a good way to ship."
"shouldn't it be up to the customer who is paying for the product and the shipping if they want them shipped in the original boxes"
there are no original boxes. this is the original packaging.
so now you can pick
