What is INDX?
INDX is Prusa's brand-new passive toolchanger system for the CORE One+. Instead of a single hotend swapping filaments (with all the purge waste that creates), INDX parks up to 8 independent tools at the back of the printer and swaps between them mechanically — in about 12 seconds, with virtually no waste.
Each tool uses Prusa's induction-heated nozzle system: the toolhead carries the induction coil, and the passive tools heat almost instantly when picked up. No electronics on the tools, no fragile wiring, no per-tool heaters that fail.

Mix nozzles & materials
Run a 0.25 mm detail nozzle and a 0.8 mm draft nozzle in the same print. Combine PLA + PVA supports, ABS + soluble interface, or up to 8 colors.
Open filament system
Any 1.75 mm filament rated up to 300 °C. No proprietary spools, no RFID lock-in — including Siddament!
LoadCell auto-calibration
Automatic first-layer calibration per toolhead in about 15 seconds. No manual offsets, no fiddling.
Closed-chamber compatible
Includes top cover with automatic ventilation. Print engineering plastics (ABS, PC, PA) without compromising chamber temperature.
