TLDR: Siddament runs a 3D printer parts vending machine in North Parramatta, Sydney. It is self serve, open 24 hours a day, every day, and it stocks the spares that stop a print: hotends, nozzles, thermistors, heaters, fans, sensors, cables and bed prep. Check live stock before you drive over.
A nozzle at 2am, without waiting for the post
Everyone who prints has had the same night. The print is due tomorrow, the nozzle blocks or the thermistor dies, and every shop in Sydney is shut. Ordering online means waiting days, and a courier cannot help you at midnight.
That is the reason the machine exists. It sits at the Siddament showroom in North Parramatta and never closes. You walk up, tap the part on the screen, pay at the machine and take it out of the tray. It takes about a minute, and there is nobody to wait on.
What is in the machine
The machine is loaded with the parts that fail or wear out, not a general catalogue:
- Hotends: BIQU Panda Juicer SFC and HFC in 0.4mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm, plus Nextruder brass high flow hotends in 0.4mm and 0.6mm.
- Nozzles: Prusa brass in 0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm, Prusa CHT 0.4mm, hardened nickel plated 0.4mm and the Nextruder V6 nozzle adapter.
- Printer spares: heatsink and 115mm thermistors, heatbed thermistor sets, 40W heater cartridges, hotend fans for MK4, MK3.9, XL and CORE One L, CORE One bed and chamber fans, door sensors, fan cables and accelerometer sets.
- Tools and bed prep: Nextruder silicone socks, brass nozzle brushes, CNC Kitchen cleaning wires, Cuttament, Stringum Obliterus, PVP bed adhesion powder and bed adhesion glue.
Stock moves, so the vending machine page reads the machine directly and shows every lane, its price and whether it is in stock, last one or sold out.
How it works
Step 1: Check what is in stock. The vending machine page mirrors the machine lane for lane and updates as parts sell.
Step 2: Note the lane number. Every part sits in a numbered lane, and the number online is the number on the machine.
Step 3: Come by any time. 24 hours a day, every day. No appointment, no staff to wait on.
Step 4: Use the vending machine. Tap the part on the screen, pay at the machine, take it from the tray.
Filament on the same trip
The site also runs 24/7 filament pickup lockers. Order filament online, choose pickup at checkout, wait for the pickup code by email, then collect from the locker whenever suits, including the same trip as your vending machine parts. The locker guide covers that side.
Who it is for
Print farms that cannot lose a night, people finishing a job for a client, anyone in Western Sydney, Parramatta, the Hills or the Inner West who would rather drive 20 minutes than wait three days. If you are further out, everything in the machine also ships Australia wide from the online store.
