Filament Dryers and Dry Boxes Australia
Active filament dryers
Heat the spool to drive out moisture. Most models double as print-from-the-dryer enclosures for hygroscopic materials like TPU, nylon and PC. Worth the investment if you print anything other than PLA and PETG regularly.
Sealed dry boxes
Passive storage solution. Combine an airtight box with bulk silica gel for months of dry storage. Less expensive than an active dryer; not as effective for re-drying a wet spool.
Silica gel and humidity indicators
Bulk silica gel for refilling dry boxes. Colour-changing humidity indicator cards or beads to show when the silica needs regenerating. Regenerate silica by baking in an oven at 100 to 120 C for 2 hours.
What we ship with every spool
Every Siddament filament spool ships with silica gel inside a resealable bag. That bag is the simplest dry storage you have. Keep it and resealed your spools between print sessions.
