Free 3D Printer Slicer Profiles from Siddament

Why per-supplier profiles matter

Generic slicer profiles assume generic filament. Real filament varies in melt temperature, flow rate and shrink characteristics from one supplier to the next. A profile tuned for the exact spool you are printing gets you a clean first print without the usual round of temp towers, retraction calibration and flow tuning.

What is covered

  • 22+ filament types: PLA, Matte PLA, Silk PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, Nylon, PC, PVB and composite variants
  • Multiple printer families: Prusa MK4, MK4S, XL, Core One and Mini, Voron, Snapmaker, and more
  • 0.4 mm nozzle profiles: the most common nozzle size, covering the vast majority of users
  • Universal fallback profiles: when a printer-specific profile is not available

How to use a downloaded profile

  • Download the JSON file from siddament.com.au
  • In PrusaSlicer / OrcaSlicer: File > Import > Import Config Bundle, or drag the JSON onto the slicer window
  • Select the imported profile from the Print Settings dropdown
  • Slice and print

What a tuned profile gives you

  • Correct nozzle and bed temperature for the specific spool
  • Calibrated retraction settings
  • Tested layer fan profile for the material
  • Correct flow rate so dimensions are right first time
  • Default speeds that work with the material's flow characteristics
