You may not know this, but it has been posted and listed everywhere and its also in the about me page...
Filament is stored on pallet racking in my drive way in a semi enclosed area, during delivery day the new pallets are kept in the driveway while being sorted into the shelving. During cold and wet days I tend to not pack orders as its freezing cold and just feels like shit packing in that weather especially now that the sun sets so early. so sometimes during really rainy days or periods the orders will be packed when its not crappy weather so I stay warm :)
In the picture you can see this is a delivery day as the pallets are kept outside, usually when the delivery happens the filament is sorted the same day or week depending on the rain, if its a sunny week the filament sits under rainproof covers on the pallets outside, if its a rainy week the pallets are sorted asap and piled in within the day or sometimes also kept under rainproof covers till its sunny to restock.
The filament has been stored and sorted like this for a while now around 2 years so nothing has changed. During summer or hot days its easy to pack orders as there's a full misting system installed to keep it bare able and cold . The vacuum sealed bags around all the filaments protect it from moisture hence you rarely get moist filament unless you buy the matte petg which comes wet from the factory. Filament stock is constantly rotated and restock so that old filament does not sit on the shelves for too long at the max around 8 months, after that its put onto clearance to get new stock in, for some materials that arent in demand, those can be quite old stock but are guaranteed to be working and in top condition.
A warehouse is still being finalized as its going to be needed at the current rate of orders and restocks, but I'm looking for one close to my house so its easier for me to still be open 24/7.
*The following does not apply to Protopasta or Nerf kits those are stored and sorted the same day they arrive under cover. With nerf kits being stored indoors and Protopasta being stored on pallet racking. This also includes worker parts once they are stocked.
