With Siddament growing as fast as it is, I have seen a drop in some quality of some rolls, this is still the same percentage of failure but due to now moving around 20,000 rolls and getting about 120 rolls refunds / returns (0.6% "defect" rate (fuck yeah)
The 120 rolls in the past 30 days include damaged during transit, customer returns for colour swaps and dodgy rolls so its not a fully accurate way to check defects so the number is actually lower.
Recent major defects have been
500 Black abs- some rolls were dodgy some are amazing but they are on sale for 11.99 with the factory replacing the entire batch free of charge!
1000 roll matte black pla- 15 reported rolls clogged printers no other issues but worth mentioning
50 RED TPU- 2 rolls have had this weird black spot in the start of the roll and varying diameter of 1.4-3mm which is fking crazy but only 2 so far
Again this is not too bad of a thing but its not also a great thing either... but it happening to just 3 products out of the entire 500+ product range is great!
