Colour Corrected photos!

Colour Corrected photos!

After recently investing in some colour correction plates and screen colour calibrators and a very costly camera.

Ill be retaking the a photo for every filament using the same 3d printed physical model with the same lighting conditions. The renders and fake photos will still be the first thing you see as it’s been working amazing for the past few months and it’s soothing to the eyes.

the 3rd photo will be a printed dodecahedron like protopastas photos. The intention wasn’t to copy them but around 3-4 months ago I made a display rack for protopasta and expanded it for my own filament so I already have them on hand and they are way easier to photograph then the rockets and take less filament to print!

Yes that is a 360 colour holder… yes it’s almost full once I print them all out and also yes I’m going to need to make another one with the new colours coming.

To correct the colours Im using Systems by Datacolour specifically the Spyder series. These photos should be more accurate and now that its not a phone taking photos, the pictures should also be way crispier.
