Ive always loved Protopasta and their crazy filament colours, They inspired me to make my own filament with my own extruder machine that I bought... which did not work out due to diameter issues and quality concerns. (sad its now a 10k paperweight under my table)
Unfortunately buying directly from Protopasta, the shipping and transaction fees make each roll come out to $120+ for a roll of PLA, making it a hard to access material.
Some local vendors do sell Protopasta at 1.3-1.5x their RRP.
After reaching out 3 months ago to Protopasta, a 190 roll order will be coming and stocked in Sydney at their RRP and nothing more. This 190 roll order consists of 2-3kg of 80/120 of their variants.
By RRP I mean the pricing thats listed on Protopastas website converted into AUD. There will never be a cent more charged then what they offer their fialment for!
ProtoPasta may not be a cheap filament, but the finishes and colours they have, no one else can compete with them.
The current ETA is looking like the End of Feb as I organize the final payments and shipping from them in the US to me!
