About Prusament PETG Emerald Green

Prusament PETG Emerald Green is a result of our cooperation with a well-known brand. This Prusament color is a perfect match for the official brand colors of the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto.

When we started the Printables Brands initiative, we wanted to bridge the gap between the physical products you meet every day and the 3D printer on your desk. With this collaboration, we took that philosophy one step further. The result is something never seen before: A filament manufacturer teaming up with a well-known brand to make a material of exact color available for everyone, and easy to recognize. And promoted by both sides.

About PETG

PETG is one of the most commonly used filaments. Its strength and durability make it an excellent choice for printing various mechanically-stressed parts, such as various holders, or clamps, for example. Due to its excellent layer-to-layer adhesion, PETG prints are ideal for indoor and outdoor waterproof applications. Furthermore, PETG is a tough material with good high-temperature resistance. The G in the acronym stands for a glycol-modified substance that is present during the manufacturing process. It modifies the properties of PET, so that it’s easier to print, less brittle, and clearer when printing with semi-transparent variants. PETG has a low thermal expansion, so even when printing big objects, and without an enclosure, it rarely lifts from the bed and warps. In addition to that, PETG is tougher and less brittle than PLA. It has a healthy amount of flex which can prevent parts from breaking under pressure. We use PETG to print parts for our printers!

Large color palette

Most PETG filaments have a glossy finish. This can be useful, especially if you want to print transparent parts. We offer a large palette of both vivid and subtle colors of Prusament PETG. This will help you in making both great-looking and functional prints.

Print in all sizes

The Prusament PETG has low shrinkage, which makes it possible to print large objects with little to no warping. This is especially useful for printing huge models glued from multiple parts. Take a look at some of our projects, such as this life-sized Triceratops skull, for example!

Official Škoda Auto models on Printables.com

Škoda Auto offers a wide range of official models at Printables. From keychains to scale models of their cars, everything is a perfect match for their signature green colors.

Premium quality

PETG is one of the best-selling types of Prusament thanks to its mechanical properties and easy printability. We continually expand our color portfolio to fit your projects. Our filaments feature high colorconsistency, 0.02 mm precision, and perfect winding. Plus, you can inspect your spool to see its details.

⚠ Colour Variation Disclaimer
I will always aim for having the same colour across multiple batches, but with such a wide range of materials, a colour variation between batches is bound to happen eventually. While it is rare, it can still occur. If a colour is noticeably different it will be sold off as clearance stock.
