For the TD-1 DIY KIT you will need to build/assemble. For this you will need:

Haven't done a "kit" in a while so took this one on as it looked good. As the title hints, making sure you got it right by checking twice is always a good plan. Wasn't a huge muckup but spent too long unsoldering a header pin rack because I fed it through the wrong side derr...
Other than that it is a well made kit and goes together neatly if you use the jig https://www.printables.com/model/839736-td-1-by-ajax-3d-assembly-jig . My kit worked first go, no issues on macOS Hueforge software showing up and reading fine. Colour HEX sampling is rather vague, but TD is stable and works as intended. Overall worth the small investment, now busy filtering small tails of filament from my stock cupboard.
