Siddament ASA > Bambu LAB > Inkstation=shit

Got tired of paying $45/1kg for ASA from a large brand and thought id take a risk and give Siddament a try. Really glad I did!

Prints just as well as the stuff I've been using for half the price and seems to retain all the same mechanical properties that you would expect from ASA/ABS. The batch I received seems to be color matched well and is as expected.

Appreciate what you're doing here for the Australian market Sidd, cheers mate.

Amazing stuff at a ridiculously low price, with the profiles provided it printed perfectly straight out of the packet

It's ASA - but it's not black!

This ASA has potential, but the colour is best described as a dark gunmetal blue. I'm surprised the vendor cannot execute a true black. This will not match other black plastic parts in a multi-material assembly.

I found I had to print this at or above the recommended maximum temperature, with 40-80 mm/s print speed and minimal (but not zero) cooling, and this gave me reasonably good results. The mechanical properties seem very good except for very poor layer adhesion when using lower printing temperatures.

This ASA has an appealing price point - but I would not select it for production purposes until it comes in a true BLACK.
