Sidd's Notes and applications
Please keep the printed parts below 60c as they can go floppy at that temperature.

⚠ Colour Variation Disclaimer
I will always aim for having the same colour across multiple batches, but with such a wide range of materials, a colour variation between batches is bound to happen eventually. While it is rare, it can still occur. If a colour is noticeably different it will be sold off as clearance stock.

Print quality not as expected

I usually print in Sunlu white PLA from Aliexpress on an a1 mini without any drying, at quite a high speed (~350mm/s) with 0.28 layer height. I tried Siddament filament because of the quicker shipping and similar pricing however, with my standard settings and routine there were many print defects compared to Sunlu. Overall strength is good however time limitations in drying and printing slowly outweigh the benefits. Picture has Siddament on left and Sunlu on right.

Not gonna lie the issue is most likely in the second line of this review, 'standard settings' due to the difference in factories standard settings wont apply easily across different brands.

I come to this conclusion due to 2 things.

1. Evenly spaced issues, if it was more filament sided it would be consistently shit not intermitently shit as seen here https://siddament.com.au/blogs/transparency/recent-filament-defects

2. At the top theres a section of prestine printed white pla surronded by whisps, that one clear section would not appear if it was the filament which again led me to the print settings being the issue.

Using the 0.4 profile thats on the site for the A1 without drying the PLA will most likely 100% work and fix this issue. as the PLA is almost never wet its usually only PETG or sparkle plas. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0685/9168/1815/files/SIDDAMENT_PROFILES_-_A1.zip?v=1724557496

fighting the urge to honestly say skill issue :) but this is a settings issue. with a low potentital of being a filament issue. I suggest trying those profiles out on the site and seeing the difference.

*TLDR it might be a filament issue, but most likely a settings issue
